Position Summary
Employment Investigator - 100% REMOTE - CONUS
As an Employment Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating simple to complex cases involving employer/employment/workplace discrimination.
Duties
Duties may include but are not limited to:- Receives inquiries and charges/complaints of employer/employment/workplace discrimination.
- Obtains documentary and testimonial evidence that is relevant and material to the resolution of the issues under investigation through witness interviews and affidavits, written requests for information, research, etc.
- Drafts charges and complaints for review and approval of Lead Investigator and takes affidavits of charging parties/complainants, as appropriate.
- Drafts a thorough and well-written report of investigative findings citing specific testimonial and/or documentary evidence, as well as applicable case law, policies and precedents relied upon.

Qualifications
You must have at least three (3) years of specialized experience (preferably working for EEOC, a State FEPA, DOL, or in another capacity involving EEO Laws) with solid and traceable experience in workplace investigations, ER, or HR which includes:- Assisting with investigative duties designed to develop information, with planning and conducting investigations, with refining investigative methods and techniques used.
- Assisting with fact gathering, that resulted in preparing a written report of the facts.
- Writing in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
Preferences
- Bachelor's degree preferred;
- Experience in investigating and advising on employment-related matters is mandatory
- Working experience in multiple jurisdictions and knowledge in labour law will be highly advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and writing skills, strong communication skills with the ability to manage various stakeholders/programs concurrently
- Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully within ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment
- Must be hands-on with a bias for action and be flexible to meet the needs of our rapid growth.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Foreign Education: If you are using foreign education to meet qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education.

- This is a 100% Telecommute position; relocation expenses will not be paid.
- This is a 100% contract position; as a 1099 contractor, benefits of any kind will NOT be provided.
